      SWList does not collect, store or transmit any personal data.

      All data stays on your device. No account is required. No analytics or tracking of any kind is used.

Data stored on your device

SWList stores the following data exclusively on your device:

EiBi and AOKI shortwave schedule databases (downloaded from their respective sources)
App settings and preferences

This data is never transmitted to any server and is not accessible to the developer.

Network activity

The app connects to the network only in the following cases:

Database updates: When you tap "Update Database" in Settings, the app downloads the schedule file from sramp.com. A download counter is incremented anonymously — no personal data is sent.
Hamlib (rigctld): The app communicates via TCP with a rigctld instance on your local network only. No data is sent to the internet.
VBAN audio streaming: The app receives audio via UDP from a device on your local network only. No data is sent to the internet.

Location

Location access is optional and used solely to calculate the distance from your position to transmitter locations on the world map. Your coordinates are stored locally only and are never transmitted.

Permissions requested

Local Network

Required to connect to Hamlib (rigctld) and receive VBAN audio streams from devices on your local network.

Location (When in Use)

Optional. Used to calculate your distance to transmitter locations on the world map.

Third-party SDKs and analytics

SWList does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking SDK. No data is shared with any third party.

Children's privacy

SWList does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. The date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent update.
